“LOL: Living Our Lives” is an initiative of the Minnesota Historical Society’s Teen Advisory Council (TAC) who researched, designed and created this exhibit about teens' lives in 2012. The teens worked closely with Minnesota History Center exhibit staff, especially Ben Clemence and Will Peterson, to create and install exhibit panels, a media piece about teens and their private spaces created in partnership with SPNN (Saint Paul News Network), and their own "period room," a mock up of a teen's bedroom. The exhibit opened with an event, also planned and implemented by the Teen Advisory Council, on April 17, 2012, and was open to the public through May 3, 2012.
