“A Snapshot in Time” was a one week camp that examined the art and science of photography, and the subject of Askov. Participants marveled at the photography skills they developed during the camp and also commented on the intergenerational relationships they developed in creating the photo exhibit.

Background on Askov
Originally the Village of Partridge, modern day Askov, MN was destroyed in the 1894 Hinckley fire. Rebuilt by the Danish Peoples Society in 1906, the village was christened "Askov" meaning "ash forest." The village was incorporated on April 25, 1918. Another reminder of Askov's Danish founders: nearly all the streets in Askov have Danish names.
