Funding and Deadlines

The schedule for 2017 is as follows:


December 2017

Revised Grant Manual published to website

January 26, 2018

Pre-application draft deadline (required)

A pre-application is required in order to be eligible for the Heritage Partnership Program. 

March 9, 2018

Final application deadline, midnight

April 19, 2018

Grants Review Committee (GRC) meeting

May 2018

MNHS Board Approval based on GRC recommendations

Notification Letters are sent to all applicants

June 2018

Grants Office prepares grant agreement (Grant period start and end dates will be listed in the grant agreement)

Grantee signs agreement, returns to Grants Office

June 1, 2018

Earliest beginning date for grant work

June 1, 2019

Latest ending date on all grant work

June 30, 2019

Final deadline for grantee to submit Final Report; funds expire

Heritage Partnerships Program grants must be completed within 12 months from the date of award. Extensions for this grant program are not allowed due to state funding expiration dates. Therefore, applicants and partners need to plan accordingly to ensure that the grant concludes within 12 months.
